seeing frank for the first since his move to new york made me remember our last west coast hang early this past august. we went for a hike to the top of mount diablo, where, it is said, you have the longest view of any peak in the west. it seemed an appropriate way for frank to set his sights eastward, and it seemed an appropriate way for us to survey the scene of our past three years' collaborations.
